{ auditioning? prepping for a show? }

Lauren would love to coach/ cheerlead/ prepare you for what’s next.

I have taught shoulder to shoulder with this woman. I can say without hesitation or doubt that she is the best teacher of theatre arts that I have worked with. I only wish I had a teacher like her when I was first approaching the industry.

Lauren has worked with students of every age + skill level, from beginner to professional. In Dallas, she’s taught for Altar’d Playhouse, Broadway Dallas, Greenhill School, Junior Players, Shakespeare Dallas, + various camps/ homeschool programs. She currently teaches the Norma Young Advanced Acting Learning Lab at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.

Unlike a lot of other acting coaches, Lauren is a certified teacher with years of classroom experience + a Master’s in Education from the University of Louisville.

You are the best acting teacher I’ve ever had.

{ what’s coaching with lauren look like? }

  • working with new material

  • offering feedback on monologues + scenes

  • providing vocal coaching (with accompaniment tracks)

  • fine-tuning new dialects

  • unpacking a new script

  • finding what you need—let’s chat!

You were probably the most supportive teacher I have ever encountered. Everything you did seemed to come from a place of genuine care and kindness, and that was unbelievably incredible.
How lucky they are to have learned from the very best (that’s you, Lauren!)
Mrs. LeBlanc infused a sense of humanity into an industry that is all too often viewed as superficial.
You taught me so much about artist kindness and about who I want to grow into and the people I want to surround myself with, and my goals as a long time artist.
The specificity of the feedback. The care you show. The aligning of your experiences to her present work. The openness with which you take her questions. Nothing was gated. She was at ease. She was free to learn and try and every outcome was to her benefit.
