Aiding + Abetting + Never Forgetting

“Telling this story with these women. Showing my daughters a new side of me. Feeling the adrenaline coursing through my body every show. My body is broken. My heart is full.

Goodbye to Lizzie, Emma, Alice. Goodbye, Fall River. Thank you, Bridget, but no goodbyes. You’re staying with me.” -LL

This one's gonna be a KILLER.

Lauren is thrilled to be taking the stage this spooky season at Theatre Three, playing the part of the Irish maid, Bridget, the narrator of the rock musical, LIZZIE.

“LIZZIE: THE MUSICAL explores the mind of Lizzie Borden and speculates on the motivations she may have had: overwhelming oppression, abuse and madness. By her side is her older sister Emma, maid Bridget, and neighbor Alice. Together, the four women tell the story of why the legend of Lizzie Borden was born with an electric punk rock score.”

Come see what’s wrong in the house of Borden, September 28–October 29, 2023.

How are you, fellow kids?

Exciting update alert: this year, I have the distinct honor of serving as guest faculty at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. I’ll be teaching the Advanced Acting Learning Lab, a seniors-only internship course, offered in collaboration with Theatre Three. In addition to our work in class, students will also be regularly brought into the theatre for exclusive access to the professional process—rehearsals, tech, builds, all of it.

We open at six.

“Y’all. This show is 🔥 + I’m so fugging proud of it. You have to listen. You won’t be sorry.”

Lauren is voicing the season three, uh… problem character, Clementine, in the wildly successful podcast MIDNIGHT BURGER, which The Guardian called a “must-listen.” Find it wherever you find your podcasts, or click here.
